I'd like to explain it better that in our perspective, Kitty did nothing wrong by setting it as her name. It is entirely your fault for thinking about it sexually even when the name is just "scissors". Kids will not interpret it as something sexual at all because they are too young for that!!! Just wanna let the anon know that: scissors is a common name and something minors wouldn't understand that without context, other people at Safe server had extreme nsfw names that is far worse than scissors. Staff being incompetent and slow to act on major issues isn't an excuse to ignore basic rules. In an SFW server, people shouldn't have to look past obvious innuendos just because the moderation is already failing elsewhere. If the bar is in hell, you don't lower it further by pretending boundary-pushing names are fine. I have pointed out other issues just like this, it's not as if I am only targeting you. If i can do more than the moderation can in a quicker time than I will.

that was only an example, and no, the staffs don't deal w shit. example: there were a pdf area and people had to PUSH it on the pony town discord server for them to actually do smth. like yeah they did, but after months and months of reports. and yes, honestly you're right in some way, but being pressed sm over a name is baffling me

The fact that it’s an SFW server is exactly why the name matters. Just because it isn't 'directly' graphic doesn't mean the intent isn't obvious, and pushing the boundaries of an SFW space with double entendres shouldn't be ignored. Saying 'there are bigger problems' is just a deflection. Staff can deal with public ERP and minors while also maintaining basic server rules. Enforcing the SFW policy on usernames doesn't stop them from handling other issues, and keeping the environment clean means not letting things slide just because worse things happen elsewhere.
